Speed up that cell turnover!
Noticing fine lines, sunspots and dullness? The antidote: retinol, a form of vitamin A that helps reduce collagen breakdown, refines skin texture, and reduces wrinkles. It helps the cells mature more healthfully by keeping the outer layers smooth and the deeper layers thick. Rosecea, skins prone to redness, or highly sensitive skins skip the retinoids and try a product with kinetin, a plant growth hormone - this works like a milder from of both antioxidant and retinol.

Tired eyes?
A recent cold, hours in front of the computer, a child not sleeping through the night, hot flashes causing sleepless nights.....try a professional "Eye Facial"! An entire treatment dedicated to the eye area leaving the eyes nourished, lifted, and rested!

Night Shift?
Mature or dry skin needs extra nourishment. Creams that work overnight are specifically formulated to deeply penetrate and leave skin smooth and hydrated.

Ditch the razor!
Shaving versus waxing! As the colder weather is here people may be tempted to revert back to shaving because it is easier and faster. This is actually doing a disservice to the skin. Shaving stimulates the sebaceous glands and cutting the hair just above the epidermis sends signals to the hair follicles to immediately reproduce. Hair then grows back in a day or two. Shaving results in thicker, denser hair as well as triggering dormant hair that have not matured, to start growing hair. Extracting hair from the root ( shaving or sugaring ) weakens the hair follicles and slows down the reproduction signals, resulting in finer, slower re-growth.

Dark circle cover-up?
The best fix: A peach concealer. The yellow in it cancels out the bluish circles. Dot it under your eyes and do not forget the inner corners where the shadows are the darkest!

Flyaway Hair?
Hair sticking up? Whether just triggering a plethora of positive electrical charges (hat hair) or serious cuticle damage, tame those unruly strands with a silicone-based leave in-conditioner after shampooing. This will coat the hair fiber making it less prone to static. Use a natural-bristle brush to help control.

Butter your body!
Body Butters! These rich and creamy moisturizers provide long and lasting moisture even when the air outside is as its driest. High in plant fats such as avocado, shea and cocoa they keep skin soft and elastic. They may take a few minutes longer to absorb then lotions but it is worth the wait!
