Need extra hydration?
Choose moisturizers with Hyaluronic Acid. This molecule helps the skin hold on to extra moisture, leaving the skin supple and rejuvenated.

Protect that neck!
Always remember that the neck and upper chest will influence how youthful the skin looks. It is vital to treat these areas as one would the face. This includes moisturizers and sunscreens.

An acne don't!
Don't pick. No matter how tempting this is, remember squeezing blemishes can cause prolonged infection and can also cause permanent scarring. Use topical products or go to a professional. It just isn't worth it.

Undercover!
To cover occassional pimples, look for medicated concealers containing salicylic acid to both cover the blemish and help eradicate it at the same time.

Safe-tanning?
There is no such thing as a safe tan. Sunlight or sunbed tans are a sign that the skin has been damaged which increases skin aging, sunspots and skin cancer risks.

Loose or pressed powder?
Why choose pressed powder over loose? Both types are basically the same formula, so it is really a matter of personal preference. But pressed is less likely to spill and for most women, easier to apply. And application is the key. Women often use too much loose powder when applying. Pressed tends to give a more even distribution of color for a more, natural look. With the right powder brush application is easy.

Lip Lesson!
Blot lips before applying gloss or lipstick. Pigments adhere better to a moisture-free mouth.

Brush-up the volume!
Medium to large round brushes are the best for getting lift at the roots and curling the ends. A wooden brush with natural bristles is easier to manuever and less likely to snag.

And bristles really matter!
When choosing a hairbrush bristles do matter. Boar bristles are best for fine or normal hair as they reduce frizz, help make hair shiny and are gentle. Nylon bristles are best for coarse, thick hair as they are strong enough to pull through even the most tangled.

Don't rub fragrance into the skin!
The pressure will crush the chemicals of the perfume and damage the odor.
